Synopsis: Abby is a captive actress in a circus. She spends her days entertaining the crowds and her nights in a cage, dreaming of freedom. One day, she manages to escape from the circus and go explore a mysterious world.
Unfortunately, freedom comes at a price, and soon Abby faces the dangers this world presents: in a war-torn medieval tale, surrounded by a devastated and starving population and pursued by the cruel butcher Thund, Abby will have to cross raging rivers, bandit camps, and traps. Her adventures are always accompanied by the lyrical poetry of puppeteer Jack, who narrates Abby's story while holding the puppet strings tightly in his ever-helpful hands.
Who can Abby trust? Can she find a way to truly free herself? Though her body dangles by the strings, can Abby control her own destiny?
