After ages of chaos, humanity has finally emerged from the devastation caused by nuclear war. The world has flourished once again under the guidance of the Great King, who has harnessed the power of the 8 Eyes to rebuild the planet.
The 8 Eyes—alien and powerful gems—were forged at the centers of eight thermonuclear blasts. Possessing them meant possessing all Earthly power.
Now, a loose alliance of dukes has treacherously ousted the Great King and seized the 8 Eyes in a bid for power. Already, their petty rivalries have the world trembling on the brink of atomic war.
The task of retrieving the gems falls to you, Orin the Falconer—the bravest and most powerful of the King's Guard. With your battle falcon, Cotros, you must infiltrate the castles of each of the traitorous dukes. There you will face ducal mercenaries—and battle Skeletons, the Giant Wasp, Mudmen, and other mutated horrors. You must defeat each castle's master monster to retrieve the essence it guards. If you are able to return the 8 Eyes to the Altar of Peace, the land will pass into another millennium of peace and abundance. If not... Minimum
