5089 takes on 3089, returning you to the planet Zak 2,000 years later. After the mysterious events of 4089, the Overlord hasn't been heard from for the past millennium, so the experimental robots continue to wage war according to their programming. Without the Overlord to repair the damage, Zak fell into chaos and neglect. However, a mysterious new force has emerged... How will your presence change its fate?
Shoot, sneak, build, talk, carve, buy, sell, fly, swing, return, search, space travel, and conquer your way across an endlessly regenerating planet. You can do it all with a friend, too. 5089 includes a redesign of 3089 and does not require the original version to play.
