We Slay Monsters simplifies traditional roguelike RPG gameplay and introduces a unique combat mechanic based on poker-like cards. Each class (Mage, Thief, Warrior) has a unique deck of cards; using this deck, you guide your hero through the dungeon. Each dungeon is designed for short bursts of play, with each dungeon taking 15 to 25 minutes to complete (or even less if your hero dies).
Adventure Academy
In We Slay Monsters, the player is tasked with rebuilding the once-famous Adventure Academy, known for training generations of heroes, but which has long since fallen into decline.
Key Features:
Poker-like card combat. Most hands that would be valid in poker are valid here, except that the deck consists of six suits instead of four, with face values of 1-9 instead of Ace-King. Flushes can be made using only three of a suit, and any flush results in a super attack. Each suit has a unique attack ability.
A campaign against the Institute of Evil. The final game will feature a campaign where you face off against the Institute of Evil, a rival school responsible for training evil monsters and bizarre bosses to take over the world.
An endless supply of recruits. Permadeath means that a hero may die, but your academy has an endless supply of new recruits willing to risk everything for fame and fortune.
Over 35 unlockable monsters. Each monster has unique abilities, and monsters are unlocked over time as you complete quests.Minimum
