Viking Vengeance
is an RPG set in a historical fantasy world where you worship gods and roam dungeons. You play a knight with pagan origins who rediscovers his roots and learns to harness the powers of the Norse gods in his quest to change the fate of his people and stop Ragnarok.
Worship the Gods:
Pray and offer sacrifices to the gods to unlock alternate combat styles and blessings. Each god is unique and comes with their own set of powers and abilities. You can unlock their power by filling your devotion bar. The more you worship them, the faster your avatar's progress will accelerate, but neglecting one of them may anger them. The gods are not always reliable, but they can be pleased to improve your chances of receiving their aid in battle through the use of certain equipment or passive glyphs. Discovering god glyphs will unlock new skills for your avatar status. Transform into the images of the gods and wield Thor's hammer, or use Loki's evil skills or Odin's power to crush your enemies and exact revenge for your people.
Factions
There are two different factions to choose from in Viking Vengeance, each with unique equipment and weapons. Characters in Viking Vengeance are visually distinct and grant access to different skills and items that must be used in conjunction with the Cult mechanic. These combinations provide unique experiences each time and influence how you approach encounters. Each faction can execute enemies after their health reaches a certain threshold. Executing enemies will grant you either health recovery or an additional Blood Coin that can be used to revive, boost your devotion, or for other gains.
The Viking cheats in death
. Corruption is real even in the afterlife. For the right price, you'll be able to negotiate your way out of Valhalla and bribe a Valkyrie who comes for your soul. Your options will be to either revive instantly for a blood cost or return to the last saved location, which will reset the world and make you a target for another Valkyrie, who wants to reclaim the soul you owe.
Growing Permanently Stronger
Progression in Viking Vengeance consists of choosing different new skills, upgrades to old skills to suit your preferred playstyle, or new equipment that can be upgraded to suit your needs.
Seek knowledge.
Get different perspectives from a variety of NPCs on how events unfold in this world and notice that many things are not as they seem at first glance.
Anything can be a weapon, and
the environment and game physics can be used to gain an advantage in battle. Throw Thor's hammer at your enemies in the flames set by his ever-falling thunderbolt, trick enemies into traps, broken ice, and hailstorms, or take advantage of Loki's poison knives, which will remain permanently on the ground after using his avatar.
Fimbulwinter's Challenges
. At the end of your journey, Fimbulwinter, the harbinger of Ragnarok, will arrive, presenting new challenges, such as the Frostdragar, the Ice Dragon, and unexpected enemies in the most unexpected places. Like you, they will all be desperate to find the legendary weapon that will help them survive the coming catastrophe. Secrets still need to be revealed, but the world is changing along with you. As you will discover, the worlds are connected now more than ever.
