: Tortured Hearts – Or How I Saved The Universe. Again was created by one person with regular help from a few other people over 12.5 years. It is considered a semi-official sequel to the two NWN-1 add-ons, Tortured Hearts I & II.
This is a challenging, traditional RPG featuring turn-based combat and an estimated playtime of at least 200 hours. TH is meant to be speed-resistant. The story revolves around a seasoned adventurer who was just looking for some loot and glory, but finds himself uncovering the truth about who really runs the universe.
The story is conversation-driven and spans 185 areas across multiple worlds, with 8 main Guardians plus some lesser ones. Hundreds of NPCs and numerous moral conversations await you. Your behavior and answers in conversations will have lasting consequences across the game, affecting the Guardians available to you and your relationship with them, available quests, quest outcomes, and the final score.
There is a versatile, non-class-based character development system. By using different character builds and choosing different actions, you can play repeatedly.Minimum
