Information:
Players assume the role of Richard Miller, a skilled sniper, in a new installment of the international thriller and shoot-'em-up action genre in Time Crisis: Project Titan. This is the third game in the Time Crisis series and the first developed exclusively for PlayStation. The game's subtitle refers to a complex plot that implicates Miller as a political assassin, leading most people he encounters to shoot first and ask questions later. Story: Following the assassination of Cuban President Javier Serrano, VSSE agent Richard Miller is framed for the crime. VSSE has only 48 hours before they must hand Miller over to Cuban authorities. During this time, VSSE cannot offer Miller any assistance, but can offer one lead—a VSSE agent named Abacus (real name Marisa Solé) has information Miller needs to clear his name. Abacus is currently on a yacht owned by the criminal organization Cantaris. VSSE leaves Miller with the yacht's coordinates before the agency leaves him alone. Unless Miller can clear his name within the 48-hour period, the secret agency will have no choice but to ignore the work Richard completed as a VSSE agent. Gameplay: Project Titan features the same gameplay as the other Time Crisis games. It also retains the signature foot pedal. Players are in cover by default. They are protected from fire but cannot return fire. To begin the game, players must press the pedal and start shooting. Stepping off the pedal also allows the player to reload the weapon. This game introduces a new gameplay mechanic that allows the player to move to multiple fixed locations, which is activated by shooting yellow arrows while the player is in cover. This feature was later reused in the arcade version of Time Crisis 4. Fortunately for light gun owners, Miller can return fire. As in previous games, Time Crisis: Project Titan features a timer mode, where the player tries to avoid fire and eliminate as many enemies as possible before time runs out, and a story mode, which guides the player through a detailed plot that progresses with the completion of each mission. Manufacturer's Description: Time Crisis is back! Secret agent Richard Miller has been framed for assassinating the President of Cuba. A sinister plot has emerged. You have only 48 hours to find the President's true killer, clear Agent Miller's name, and uncover the evil plan. Good luck... and remember, trust no one.
