Description: The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers is a video game based on the films The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring and The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. Available on PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, and GameBoy Advance. Unlike its sequel, the game was not released on PC (it was planned, but canceled in early 2002).
This game was created exclusively for PlayStation 2 and is based on the first and second parts of the film trilogy "The Lord of the Rings," "The Fellowship of the Ring," and "The Two Towers," in collaboration with the film's authors. The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers received an Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS) Award for Excellence in Graphic Design. Since hitting store shelves, the game has topped charts worldwide, including Russia.
Dangerous adventures await you in the nine regions of Middle-earth. Feel like the mighty Aragorn, the deadly Legolas, or the tireless Gimli in deadly battles with numerous enemies: a cave troll, the leader of the Uruk-hai, the Deep Guardian, and terrifying foxes. And as dessert—a spectacular battle in Helm's Deep, as massive as in the film.
Loads of additional video material: interviews with actors who played roles in the film and voiced the characters in the game, excerpts from the films "The Fellowship of the Ring" and "The Two Towers," and materials about the creation of the game and the films. There are also large-scale battles in the game, just like in the movies, with about 100 NPCs participating.
Additional information:
The configuration file was used, but friezes still creep in occasionally, usually in large battles, but they are not strong and do not bother you. Shadows also behave strangely, but they are not too intrusive. I was unable to convert the Russian version, and its disc ID was not detected, were it not for the configuration, but I think everyone has watched these movies 100 times, and there is really no need for translation here. Performance tested on Hen 9.00
