Information:
You play as Ogden, an orphan whose curiosity drives him to do things he shouldn't. After disobeying the matron of the orphanage and sneaking into a locked room, he succumbs to temptation and tries on a cursed mask that transforms him into a monster. You must get used to this new body, master monstrous abilities, and try not to lose the last vestiges of your humanity. You possess monstrous agility, monstrous strength, and inhuman abilities. But beware—in this hostile world, almost everything is against you.
The world of The Guise is filled with terrifying locations, including dying villages, dark forests, labyrinthine dungeons, and deadly, demon-infested valleys. Search for secrets, secret passages, and hidden rooms containing treasures that shed light on Ogden's world.
The game's central feature is your static monstrous form. As a human, you could fight with a sword or other weapon, but now you only have your new monstrous abilities to rely on.
Unlock new monstrous abilities by defeating bosses and absorbing their skills. Each time you defeat a normal opponent, you collect their eyes—local currency that can be spent to upgrade your abilities with the Eye Collector.
The horrific world of The Guise may be cruel and unjust, but there are still some people you can rely on—for example, the children whose eyes remain pure, untouched by the world's darkness. Or the Eye Collector, who feels keenly the pain and despair of this boy trapped in a monster's body.Minimum
