Ritual of the Essence Gatherer: Ritual of the Essence Gatherer is an indie video game, a classic epic fantasy RPG, where you lead a party of up to 5 adventurers. Your decisions will shape the world of Eternalia and the party members who wish to join you. For now, we're releasing a beta so you can give us feedback on things you'd like changed.
This is the first video game I made for fun at roughly the cost of making it. It's not perfect, of course, but if there are any bugs or things that need improvement, please let me know and I'll work on them in my spare time.
An ancient creature, the Great Necromancer, thought to have been destroyed 1,000 years ago, is back, possessing the power to absorb the essence of any living creature and even the essence of the gods.
With the gods no longer helping the living, what would happen if the solutions were as bold as the rising evil? What if the best solution seemed to be summoning an out-of-order demon with the ability to resist the powers of the Great Necromancer? This is the story of a group of adventurers who joined forces to save the world of Eternalia and make the decisions to change it forever. This is your adventure, these are your choices.
Your decisions will shape your character, other characters, and the world of Eternalia. By making choices during your adventures, your character will take a different spiritual path: order or chaos, good or evil, or stay apart from any of those cosmic forces. Your actions will define your character, but they will also affect the companions who want to join your party, as well as the factions and allies who want to join your army... or they may fight against you if they have a hostile orientation.
Ritual of the Essence Gatherer is a role-playing game (RPG). As an RPG, you will travel across the western part of the continent known as Eternalia, looting, searching, and slaying monsters while being followed along your adventures by up to four companions. There may be up to 12 different companions who can join your cause. During your adventures, you will also gather allies, lands, and factions to form an army you will need to face your enemies.
