Tank Wars: Anniversary Edition supports three different game modes:
Classic (League): In Classic (or League) mode, players execute their shots consecutively, one after the other, until only one tank (or team) remains alive. While a player executes their shot, other players must wait for their turn.
Synchronous: In Synchronous mode, players adjust their upcoming shots simultaneously. After all players have confirmed their individual shooting settings, all tanks fire their weapons simultaneously. The procedure is repeated until only one tank (or team) remains alive.
Real-time: In real-time mode, all players can fire at will and at any time, provided they don't already have a shell flying around them. This carnage continues until only one tank (or team) remains alive.
