Surviving Medieval is a survival strategy game with indirect controls and tower defense elements. It is inspired by RimWorld, Prison Architect, and Dwarf Fortress.
Key Features: Flexible
tile construction allows for unhindered creativity by providing all the tools to build completely custom buildings, with only the limitations of room requirements.
The needs system constantly tracks the status of all citizens to indicate how comfortable they are and whether their demands are being met. Some needs apply certain effects, so when citizens eat food, they will replenish with a small amount of health, but without any food, citizens will soon become hungry and will start losing health every time they miss a meal.
The economy is closely linked to citizen demands. If taxes are out of balance with demands, citizens will become unhappy much faster. At the same time, gold is one of the main resources in a settlement and is needed to build defenses strong enough to stop barbarians from killing the king.
