Keep shooting! Starlight: Eye of the Storm is a 2D retro vertical shooter. Unleash special powers, upgrade your weapons, and get the best ones! Be prepared to face challenging enemies coming your way across 10 stages. Danger can come from any direction, including 3D objects in the background.
Drift Mode:
Drift around your enemies in style as they might challenge you to an aerial duel!
Weapons:
Each playable ship has a different set of cannons (up to 3) that can be fitted with various weapon types.
Weapon Shop:
Equip your ship from a huge selection of weapons (up to 60 unique combinations)! Fight skillfully and you'll be rewarded with pods needed to upgrade your existing weapons to the next level!
You'll also be able to enjoy a whole range of upgrades for your ship itself to improve your chances in battle!
Create Your Own Ship:
Easily create your own custom ships using your own jpg, png, or tiff files with or without transparency. A set of guided parameters will help you ensure your ship is ready to go! Upload your custom ship to the Steam Workshop to share it with the community!
The story:
Earth, 300 years after the destruction of the final nuclear war. (6 months before the events of
After experiments to open wormholes went wrong, several massive wormholes randomly opened near the already devastated Earth. Since then, the Vision Council has chosen you and two of your top pilot friends for the
mission to reestablish contact with the Council on Mars. Your ships will deliver classified communication data through the massive wormhole and into Martian orbit, where local government forces will be waiting for you. You will be tacitly supported by UNC allies through the sale of secret weapons to your team. Since your mission is under strict secrecy, you will be attacked by all forces. Minimum
