Take on the roles of four of your favorite foul-mouthed third-graders—Stan, Kyle, Kenny, and Cartman—as they attempt to save their small Colorado town from the fallout from a nearby evil comet. Through five first-person shooter levels (each with three or four sublevels), prepare to face the likes of evil turkeys, snowball-throwing replicants, cruel cows, otherworldly aliens, killer robots, and toys gone rogue. In most cases, you'll also have to defeat larger versions of these villains called "Tanks," which not only represent the greatest threat to South Park and must be stopped before they reach the town, but also spawn more minor enemies until they are destroyed. The end of each level includes a battle with an extremely powerful main character. To combat these evil forces, the fearsome quartet has access to a variety of diverse weapons, most of which can be used in at least two ways. In addition to the single-player story mode, two players can face off in a head-to-head mode.
