Description: The events of the fifth part will take players to France in 1944. Carl Fairbairn will go there as part of a secret group of American Rangers, whose goal is to destroy the "Atlantic Wall", a powerful system of long-term fortifications along the coasts of the European continent. There, Karl connects with the French secret service, and together they learn that the Nazis have a serious trump card up their sleeve—a particular Operation Kraken operation, the success of which could prevent a large-scale Allied landing.

Extensive Campaign - Many real-life locations have been recreated using photogrammetry to provide a vibrant and realistic virtual environment. The abundance of ways to approach enemy positions and retreat to a safe distance, along with a large list of available objectives, provides different perspectives within each mission. Fight the Nazi conspiracy alone or with a friend thanks to the improved co-op mode—share ammo, heal each other, and issue orders.
Advanced Shooting and Movement Systems - Use zip lines, slide down cliffs, and cautiously walk along ledges to reach the best vantage point for the perfect shot. Or quietly avoid vigilant enemy patrols. Consider the condition of your weapon (stock, barrel), wind strength and direction, planetary gravity, and heart rate—all of which can affect your shot.
Massive Customization - Don't forget to use workbenches to change and improve weapon characteristics. Change optical sights, stocks, forends, barrels, and magazines. Almost every major detail of the weapon can be changed or improved. Moreover, for many samples, you can now choose the cartridge type, from armor-piercing to non-lethal.
Invasion Mode: Join the story campaign at any time with good or bad intentions - if desired, players will be able to invade each other's story campaigns, becoming an ally of the game owner or an enemy sniper. The owner player can also call an ally for help.
Intense Online Versus - Customize your character and gear, enter online battlefields, and earn numerous rewards against up to 15 other players. If you prefer cooperative mode, welcome to fight waves of enemies as part of a group of three fighters!
Improved Death Cam - The iconic Death Cam, which displays enemy death in X-ray resolution upon successful hits, is back, and it's even more spectacular. Namely: more brutal and realistic. You can now see how a bullet that has pierced skin and muscle, depending on the angle of impact, bounces off sturdy bones and hurtles through the insides. What's more, in Sniper Elite 5, the Death Cam will be triggered by successful shots from pistols and automatic weapons, not just sniper rifles. Downloadable Content
