The game will be a top-down game
. There will be a base that the player can build and upgrade. The base will be central to the story and tied to upgrading the player's skills, equipment, and stats. The player will control one character but can join multiple AI-controlled teammates to take on more challenging missions. Traveling the world will take place via a map (think Fallout 1 and 2). The player can explore the map and find locations and towns to trade and obtain quests. Controls will include a mouse and keyboard (gamepad support will be added later). The player will also have the ability to unlock different abilities for their exosuit such as: invisibility, group fear, and sand-related abilities (sand fireball, sand wall, sand trap, etc.). The player will also have the ability to raise llamas to ride (and possibly race) and gradually unlock vehicles to travel farther into the Alaskan wasteland. Travel is restricted by the amount of water the player carries. You will be able to upgrade the amount of water the player carries and their travel speed to allow the player to explore farther from their base. But beware, the farther you go, the more dangerous it becomes. A player's death won't be permanent, although as a game designer I believe there is some sort of penalty for death. The idea of losing makes the game more exciting and enjoyable.Minimum
