Information:
This classic Ratchet & Clank adventure comes to PlayStation 3 with a full 1080p HD remaster and additional features for trophy support and 3D. Insomniac Games brings back one of its most beloved characters in Ratchet: Deadlocked. Ratchet: Deadlocked begins shortly after the end of Ratchet & Clank: Up your Arsenal. The three heroes, Ratchet, Clank, and the mechanic Al, have just completed their final mission when they are captured by the galactic villain Gleeman Vuk. Vuk plans to use the heroes as part of his reality TV show, Dreadzone, where the heroes are forced to fight each other to the finish. The main difference in Ratchet: Deadlocked is that Clank is no longer riding Ratchet. Instead, he will occasionally provide Ratchet with a necessary device. This removes many of the platforming elements of the series, leaving Ratchet to mostly fight through the eleven different levels of Dreadzone with the aid of two combat robots. Players can find a number of different weapons and devices throughout the game, including the incredibly destructive Harbinger rifle. The more weapons Ratchet uses, the more powerful he becomes. Several different vehicles are also available. In addition to the main story, players can also compete in a number of Dread Challenges in each level, complete side quests, collect skill points, and battle against each other in a number of different multiplayer modes. Ratchet: Deadlocked has many additions to keep players fighting against the villain Vok for hours.
