Radical Spectrum is a classic-inspired arcade game with infinitely increasing speed and difficulty, featuring a unique color-collecting mechanic that adds a light puzzle element. Players must match three of the same color to launch a fireball, and must balance the risks and rewards when choosing what to launch. If the black rays touch the ground or Duke, the game ends, so the player must decide what is more important: destroying the spacecraft, or trying to destroy the black mass zigzagging across the grid.
