Description: The town of Montberry has always been wary of developments in the outside world, preferring to rely on its traditional methods of healing. However, that was until one day the mayor's daughter fell ill, and the local healer was unable to help her, forcing the townspeople to seek help outside their small community.
The Medical Association decided to send the most experienced alchemist—you—to help treat the mayor's daughter, as well as convince the townspeople that modern chemistry can work miracles.
Key Features:
Accept orders from the townspeople. Moonbury has around 30 unique residents who fall ill from time to time and seek your help. Patients' schedules will be interrupted as they recover at home in bed.
Gather ingredients using a hammer, axe, and sickle. Once you've decided on the type of potion, ointment, or balm you'll craft, you must gather the necessary ingredients from the environment. Beware of changing weather conditions! Some areas are known to experience heavy fog, drought, or even severe blizzards.
Fight nasty monsters for materials. Sometimes, you won't be able to gather the materials you need as easily as picking berries from a bush, and you'll have to turn your trusty tools into weapons to harvest materials from the monsters roaming the wilderness. Battles take place in real time, and as an alchemist, you'll be able to concoct various concoctions to strengthen yourself or inflict diseases on your opponents, as well as various tools to aid you.
Boil medicine in your cauldron. The ingredients you gather in the cauldron can be mixed to create medicines, vitamins, and more. As you become more experienced, higher-level recipes will become available, requiring more ingredients but providing stronger effects.
Build relationships with the townspeople. It will take some time, but your efforts will make your patients' health much better. Your reputation will increase, and they will begin to open up to you more. You may become especially close to some single or unmarried residents.
Improve the city and its surrounding areas. Building relationships with the townspeople will increase your acceptance rate, and at certain stages, you will be able to improve the area by upgrading public buildings and expanding explorable areas around the city. You may even be able to design your own house.
