Paperbound is a compact fighting game that combines platforming, fast-paced combat, and gravity redirection. Run with scissors, walk on walls, and throw ink bombs in strange but intense battles inside the pages of old books. In addition to 360 degrees of gravity freedom, several other twists add to the tension and drama of the match, such as the "page tear escape" victory mechanic, which adds a second phase to combat and causes players to temporarily cooperate with their opponents. A controller is highly recommended for this local multiplayer party game.
Play as one of the 11 original Paperbound characters or as characters from Guacamelee, Monaco, VVVVVV, Cards and Castles, and Tumblestone.
When your friends aren't around, Paperbound has challenging AI bots. Each character has their own personality. Some are aggressive, some are more cautious. Some are even vengeful. Some wield all weapons skillfully, while others prefer to get up close for close combat. Bots are great for solo players, when you want to balance teams, or when you simply want some extra chaos.
