This remake of the classic adventure game Abe's Oddysee places players in the strange world of Oddworld. Players returning to Oddworld are in for a surprise, as this adventure with Abe replays the classic first chapter of the series with unique and surprising new content!
In Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee, players control Abe, a terribly ugly, yet strangely attractive Mudokon slave. He and his fellow Mudokons have been forced to work at the meatpacking plant Rupture Farms, which specializes in driving species to extinction. Abe discovers that Rupture's next meat specialty is his own race of Mudokons, and must escape the farm and rescue as many of his fellow Mudokons as possible. Abe's Oddysee utilizes many platforming elements, along with puzzles and communication. Abe can and must talk to other Mudokons if he wants to finish the game; his friends must follow him to the gates, where they are rescued.

With art direction from series creator Lorne Lanning, Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty offers a look at Oddworld with unprecedented fidelity. Smooth animation, freely moving cameras, and high-resolution visuals (up to 4K) make RuptureFarms and its surroundings look amazing, creating the Oddworld Lanning always wanted to see.
• Redesigned controls:
Analog controls provide more precise control of Abe, and new tricks like free aiming, the ability to drop grenades behind you, and even crouching sneak unlock new ways for stealthy tactics and innovative speedrunning. Optional “old-school” controls also bring back digital jumping and movement, so Oddysee fans can start with some familiarity.
• Brand new areas, brand new secrets.
From the dark wastes of RuptureFarms to the expansive original lands of Monsaic Lines, via the vast temples of Scrabania and Paramonia, Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty boasts new areas, subtle gameplay changes, and a few surprises. Fans will recognize the massive meat grinders, Scrab cages, and expansive caverns, but there's enough new stuff here to keep you on your toes. Minimum
