! Featuring smooth pixel art animation and a jazzy soundtrack, the player is thrown directly into a vision designed in the style of cinema noir. Visit locations, interrogate suspects, search for clues, and ultimately solve the case before the killer escapes—or you find yourself dead.
Key Features:
- Procedural Generation: Murder scenarios with a new criminal and clues every time, each experience is unique.
- Investigation: Interact with and examine numerous objects and characters in a number of environments in search of more information about the killer.
- Countdown: You are given a set number of days to solve the mystery. Each area visited will reduce the remaining time, adding to the urgency of each case.
- Freedom of Choice: Try to solve the case, or live your remaining time however you wish—whether it's fighting the law, hunting down gang members, or simply exploring the city.
- Combat: Combat should generally be avoided, as a single bullet will kill the player. However, when necessary, a pistol is always available for use.
- Badges: Complete a variety of challenges to earn unique badges that directly affect future experiences.
- Stats and Points: High stats and points for a wide range of topics will carry over across each game.
- Costumes: Several unlockable costumes can be earned in the game. Play as the default male or female detective, or unlock a variety of new costumes.
