The plot closely follows that of Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens, though there are several fun deviations or minor changes to accommodate the co-op gameplay, including a prologue depicting the Battle of Endor, the defeat of Emperor Palpatine, and the destruction of the second Death Star at the end of Return of the Jedi.
