Story:
The game takes place in the criminal districts of California in 1992 - a time ripe for crime. The main character (Carl Johnson, known as CJ) arrives in Los Santos to attend his mother's funeral. At the cemetery, he meets his relatives and old friends, who are soon attacked by the local Mexican gang, the Ballas. After this incident, CJ begins to slowly join the criminal life of his friends and once again becomes a member of the Grove Street gang. The main task in the game is to reclaim the territories that previously belonged to your gang and, despite the prohibitions, marry Kendall, who is engaged to the head of the Mexican gang, who is herself unhappy about this.

Gameplay:
As in the console/tablet versions, the game is played from a third-person perspective, that is, we see the character from the side. The action combines action and car simulation. An open world is provided for exploration and travel, consisting of three cities, with a total area of ​​​​36 square kilometers. You can use completely different vehicles for transportation: bicycles, motorcycles, cars and trucks, tanks, helicopters, boats, and others. You can commandeer them as you wish - did you like the car at the traffic lights? You're a gangster, don't be shy - take out the driver and go wherever you want.
In the game, you will often have to deal with organized crime and the police. If you can deal with the former roughly (using an impressive arsenal of combat and firearms), it is better to hide from the latter, otherwise helicopters and special forces may be sent to catch you.
The main difference between GTA and other action games is freedom of movement. You can complete story missions filled with cinematic scenes and dialogue, or you can plunge headlong into the chaos in between, robbing, killing, bombing, and even visiting various establishments: barbershops, gyms, strip clubs, shops. The game has a huge selection of clothing, accessories, and hairstyles. You can also control your hero's body structure—in a word, make him unique.
