God of War Collection, also known as the God of War series, is an action-adventure, single-player, murder-themed video game developed by SCE Santa Monica Studio Interactive and published by Sony Computer Entertainment and Capcom . It was released on November 17, 2009 in North America, on March 18, 2010 in Japan, on April 29, 2010 in Australia, and on April 30, 2010 in Europe for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. series consists of two parts: God of War I and God of War II. The first part is loosely based on Greek mythology, and its events take place in ancient Greece. The main motive for its events is revenge. The player controls the protagonist , Kratos , a Spartan warrior in the service of the Olympian gods. Athena, the goddess of wisdom, entrusts him with killing Ares, the god of war , who is responsible for Kratos's mistaken death of his family. As Ares besieges and attacks Athens out of spite for his sister, Kratos embarks on a journey in search of the only object capable of stopping any god: the legendary Pandora's Box . After an epic struggle, Kratos defeats Ares and takes his place as the new God of War.
بينما تدور أحداث الجزء الثّاني حول نهاية الجزء الأوّل كتكملة، فبعد أن تمّت مكافئة "Kratos" بأن أصبح إله الحرب بدلاً من "Ares" نراه يجلس على عرشه وقد ضاق به الأمر من الآلهة الأخرى، وأصبح الكلّ يكرهه، فيقرّر أن ينزل إلى الأرض ويُساعد جيشه في حربه ضدّ الجُيوش، فتستوقفه "Athens" آلهة الحكمة التي كانت تظهر في الجزء الأول على شكل تمثال فقط، ولكنّه بكل عنجهية، وتكبّر وغطرسة يُهملها فتغضب منه وتذكّره بأنّها هيّ من جعلت منه إلهاً وأنّه لا يجب عليه أن يُدير لها ظهره بهذه الطّريقة، ولكن "Kratos" لا يأبه بها وينزل إلى الأرض لمساعدة جيشه، وعند وصوله يأتي صقر ويلمس كتف "Kratos" ثمّ يطير إلى تمثال عملاق ويبثّ فيه الرّوح وفي نفس الوقت يبدأ "Kratos" بالتقلّص ليُصبح مثل الأدميّ فيصغر حجمه وهوّ يتوعّد "Athens" بأنّه سينتقم منها إعتقاداً منه بأنّها هيّ من صغرت حجمه، ولكنّه لا يزال يتمتّع بكافة قواه، فيحارب التّمثال العملاق بكل شراسة، ولكنّه لا يستطيع أن يقتله لكبر حجمه فيلتقي معه بعدّة جولات قبل أن يسمع صوت إله الألهة "Zeus" الّذي يرمي له سيفاً ويقول له بأن يضع كافّة قواه في هذا السّيف ليستطيع تدمير التّمثال الكبير، وهذا ما فعله "Kratos"، وبعد تدمير التّمثال الكبير يسقط منه سيفه فيحاول الحصول عليه ولكنّه إنهار بسبب أنّ كل قواه كانت داخل السّيف وبهذه اللّحظة يعود نفس الصّقر فيتحوّل إلى إله الألهة "Zeus" فيجري قتال غير متكافئ بينه وبين "Kratos" فيقتله "Zeus"، ثم تظهر شخصية جديدة وهي "Gaya" أمّ الطّبيعة فتعرض عليه المساعدة بأن يذهب ليجد "أخوات القدر(Sisters of Fate)"وهنّ من يستطيع التحكّم بالوقت والقدر، ليعيدونه لللّحظة الّتي قتله فيها "Zeus" لينتقم منه ويغيّر مصيره، ومن هنا تبدأ رحلة "Kratos" المليئة بالمغامرات الحافلة وبعد أن كلّمت "Gaya"أمّ الطّبيعة "Kratos" وقالت له أن يذهب إلى أخوات القدر ليقتل "Zeus" كان "Kratos" قد شوفي من جراحه وعاد "Kratos" إلى الأرض مرّة آخري فقابله قائد قوّاته وأحضر له الحصان "Pegasus" ليذهب إلى أرض "Titans" فذهب "Kratos" وقتل العديد من طيور العنقاء وقتل زعيمهم وذهب إلى أرض "Titans" و طار "Pegasus" بـ"Kratos" إلى عملاق من "Titans" فوقع "Kratos" من على ظهر "Pegasus" وأمسك العملاق "Pegasus" فقاتل Kratos the brave man defeated many bats and monsters and defeated them. He went outside and found a man eating birds from his guts and his guts were renewed again. Kratos went to him and said to him , “I am Prometheus, the god of the day. Zeus sentenced me to remain suspended like this while birds eat me.” He said to him, “Burn me to get rid of this torment. ” Kratos burned him during the day and took the power of the god of fire and freed Pegasus . Then he enters a cave in which there is a giant to free his horse. Kratos uses the power of fire and snaps his fingers to save his horse , Pegasus . Then Kratos rides his horse and flies with it and kills many strong birds. Then he jumps from the horse and finds himself in a green land. On his way, he kills many monsters. Then, after passing this stage, he finds a person with wings on his way. The man tries to catch him. Kratos and the Titan are falling from the mountain, where Kratos is able to remove the wings from the man's back and fly with them and the man falls into the depths of the earth and Kratos tries to climb up by breaking the chains that bind the Titan in the depths of the earth and after breaking them the Titan gives Kratos the powers of rocks through which he killed many monsters and then the Titan grabs Kratos and carries him up to continue on his way.

I have already finished the series, I advise you to play it, try it and you will not regret it, as the series witnesses many very exciting scenarios, honestly it is a fantastic game, but hahahaha you will suffer from some very difficult stages, but if you focus you will pass them successfully, I hope you like the game.
