God of War: Ascension is an action-adventure video game developed by SCE Santa Monica Studio Interactive and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. It was released on March 12, 2013 in North America, on March 13, 2013 in Europe, on March 14, 2013 in Australia, and on March 15, 2013 in the United States. It was released on the PS3 platform only.
The story of the game revolves around the punishment of the gods for "Kratos" and the reason for that is his breach of his agreement with the god of war "Ares", who manipulated him into killing his family, and "Kratos" was tortured by "Erinys" (the daughter of the god of death ) (or "The Furies, the three sisters known as the goddess of death Erinys "), while freeing himself, he will search for the means to obtain the redemption he seeks so much: "the forgiveness of the gods and forgetting the memories of his massacres", as the game begins in the "Prison of the Damned" where "Kratos" is tortured by "Erinys", while freeing himself from the clutches of "Megaera " (one of the three sisters " Erinys "), and "Erinys" from jealousy and envy, and kills her and
"Aegon" (who is one of the three giant guards with 100 hands and 50 heads). He recalls the past three weeks before his imprisonment, his encounter with Orkos, son of the god of war Ares and Alecto , one of the three sisters known as the Erinys (Queens of Wrath and Spirit), who told him that in order to break his pact with the Olympian war god and regain his soul, he must kill the Erinys. During his journey, Kratos will have the opportunity to meet Aletheia, the priestess of Delphi, to defeat his guardians Castor and Pollux (the Gemini twin gods or known as the Sibyl Messengers ) and then on several occasions the three sisters.Once back in the present, Kratos kills Alecto, the Queen of Wrath and Soul , and Tisiphone (one of the Erinys sisters , the Queen of Wrath and Mind) , and takes revenge on the three Erinys sisters , ثمّ تنتهي اللعبة بقتل المتقشف "Orkos(إبن إله الحرب "Ares")" بناءً على طلب الأخير بقطع الرّابطة مع إله الحرب"Ares"، حيث أصبح عقل "Kratos" واضحًا تمامًا مرّة أخرى وإنهار وحرق منزله وقرّر وضع نفسه في خدمة الآلهة.
