After a strange catastrophic event cracks the moon in half, Earth struggles with the effects of the environmental catastrophe. Everything is already dead or dying... except you. Or at least, you think so. Don't Escape: 4 Days to Survive is a post-apocalyptic thriller from the esteemed developer Scriptwelder, creators of the acclaimed horror series Deep Sleep and Don't Escape. Players must find a way to properly fortify their home against each night's new danger, while uncovering the truth behind the apocalypse and searching for a way out, if there is one.
Players will travel alongside David, the sole survivor of the post-apocalypse, who finds himself having prophetic dreams... or nightmares. Each chapter of the game has several potential changes to contend with, from toxic fog or spiders to a gang of murderous thieves or a deadly heat wave, and as a result, you'll need to adjust your strategy for different playthroughs. But you don't have forever. Certain actions advance the game's clock, and you'll need to complete your (hopefully) survival preparations before night falls.
