– Divide is a character-driven sci-fi action-adventure game that takes a modern take on the isometric adventures of the past. Search for clues that reveal new story insights, interact with integral characters, and fight enemies by sneaking out of sight or launching a direct assault. Combat in Divide is heavily engineered against the player. Every encounter has the potential to spiral out of control. Combat areas, large and small, can be directly attacked using a futuristic sidearm and the potential assistance of an ally. The player also has the option to sneak around using stealth and misdirection by hacking into enemy communications.
The player uses the left stick to move and the right stick to aim. Everything else, from running to shooting with the sidearm to interacting with the main character's augmented reality interface, is mapped to buttons on the top of the controller.
