Centauri Rule
is a space shooter set in the Centauri sector where a new settlement is being established. Others are arriving, seeking to take control of the sector for themselves, and they won't take no for an answer. You'll patrol the sector, destroying enemy ships wherever you find them, collecting minerals to bolster your defenses, protecting incoming settlers from Earth, and finally putting an end to the planetary invasion.
There are ten waves, each bringing a new type of enemy ship to the sector that will require different tactics to defeat. You'll need to upgrade your ship and base to stand a chance of defeating each new threat. Waves start normally, but the sector will become increasingly hostile as each wave progresses, becoming a quick battle to save the settlement.
Player Ship
Your ship is armed with a powerful cannon, and can also be armed with high-explosive missiles and heat-seeking missiles that can be purchased from base. Proximity mines also become available in the later stages of the game, which are great for dealing massive area damage.
Your ship has five major systems that can be damaged and are automatically repaired, provided your spare parts inventory is not empty. When these systems are damaged, they will begin to fail. Your engines will slow down, your radar will be difficult to read, your viewport will fill with noise, your weapons will fire erratically, and your gyroplanes will become vulnerable.
It is important to closely monitor your ship's systems, fuel, and health status. Make sure to return to base for repairs before you are overwhelmed by enemy ships. Note that if your ships' weapons are active, the base will not activate the repair tower.
Upgrades:
Asteroids will need to be mined and brought back to base to upgrade your ship and base systems. Make sure you stockpile the maximum possible amount before a new wave when new upgrades become available. The upgrade menu will appear with your mouse cursor when you hover over the base. Minimum
