Description: Book of Demons is a hybrid of a collectible card game and a hack and slash game, where you determine the duration of the quests yourself. Collect magic cards and destroy the armies of darkness in the dungeons of the ancient cathedral. Save the paper world, trembling with fear, from the clutches of the Archdemon himself!
Card and Deck Building
Book of Demons is not a card game, but everything in it, from items to spells to skills, is presented in the form of cards. Collect the appropriate cards and improve them with runes. Legendary cards are the best, but they're not easy to come by.
Solo Play Sessions with Flexiscope
Book of Demons respects your time. The game features a Flexiscope tool that allows you to split the game into sessions of any length. It even calculates your play pace and predicts how long it will take to complete your next session.
Unique Game Mechanics
The streamlined movement and combat mechanics are what sets Book of Demons apart from most other hack and slash games. Often, there isn't enough time to clear all the obstacles with clicks: monster armor, enemy spells, poison, or disabled cards—so the right timing, card selection, and the order in which they should be used can become crucial.
Hack and Slash in a Card World
Book of Demons takes place in a card world, which fits into a book containing holograms. This is a story about good and evil, and also about saving the world from a greater evil. The game's creators were inspired by the gloomy and dark atmosphere of the first Diablo game, so Book of Demons is part parody and part tribute to the classics of the hack and slash genre.
Ease of Play
: Book of Demons is designed to be as easy to play as possible. Areas of interest are marked at the top of the screen and unlock as you approach them. Characters leave traces that can be easily used to return or find out where they've already been without opening the map.
An engaging and challenging ending
: On average, completing a single chapter of the campaign takes around 10 hours. However, it can take much longer to fully level up your character, master all difficulty levels in Freeplay, and complete all missions. Roguelike mode takes the level up to a higher level of difficulty: permadeath, limited healing, and more obstacles.
