using Unreal Engine 4, Battlefleet Gothic: Armada offers deep control over each ship that comprises the player's fleet, both during and between battles. From the fastest frigates to massive, long-range warships, players will customize every aspect of their ships: their weapons, defense and support systems, as well as their crew, captain, and more. Each customization affects the ship's performance and the special abilities available during combat. From battle to battle, admirals and crews of surviving ships will gain experience and upgrades, improving their ships' readiness for larger, more dangerous battles to come.
In addition to a comprehensive multiplayer mode with permanent fleets where up to four players can battle simultaneously, Battlefleet Gothic: Armada also includes a large story campaign, set during the Twelfth Black Campaign and placing players at the heart of the Gothic War between the Empire and Abaddon the Destroyer. Players will be at the heart of every battle, commanding fleets of massive ships as Chaos unleashes a series of surprise attacks on Imperial worlds—the beginning of 20 years of warfare in the sector.Minimum
