The plot is based on the comic books and takes us to a bleak post-apocalyptic world, where the remnants of humanity have barricaded themselves within a series of towering walls after being nearly wiped out by giant Titans. Unlike previous productions based on the Attack on Titan franchise—visual novels, a genre unpopular in Western countries—this time we get a pure action game, focusing primarily on the battles themselves.
