Atomic Butcher: Homo Metabolicus is a crazy, fast-paced, and
incredibly bloody 2D platformer/shooter set in a post-apocalyptic world with 360-degree shooting.
You play as a mad brute, the Atomic Butcher. In your search for food in the post-apocalyptic wastelands, you brazenly destroy everything in your path and wipe out a dying society. Resources are scarce, so you resort to the next best thing: the meat that's still running around; whether it's dangerous mutated animals or humans trying to rebuild a broken world, it doesn't make much difference. In the end, it's all pretty damn tasty.
You cause damage using mainly your body:
- urinate on your enemies,
- vomit horribly on the poor people you stumble across, and
- slip and dash into everything.
If that's not enough, you can use weapons scattered throughout the wastelands, as well as the corpses of slain enemies or anything that can be picked up. There are also several deadly traps, but you might be able to use them to your advantage.
