Info
at this point, you might be wondering what this damn project is about? Archeo: Shinar, because that's the full title, is a turn-based strategy video game built around managing people and resources.
It's not like those other games about archaeologists doing amazing things in ancient tombs or something. Nope. In this game, you're the one behind the desk. Or a woman. We're talking about the lifestyle of a real archaeologist, the real horror of dealing with traumas and phobias. Not yours! You won't risk your own health, we have staff to do that. The real horror of dealing with theirs. Do you see where I'm going with it? Imagine the bills from doctors, the health insurance, and the press. "The press? Why the press?" you ask. Yes, the press. Because you know the press. They're just waiting there for the dissatisfied explorer who'd like to tell them how "archaeology" really works. And we're not talking about how it really works. They can't possibly know the ugly truth. Ever!
That's a lot of stress, is it? Don't worry, as we already know, there's no better medicine for that than a cup of tea. Or a glass of gin. Your call.
Let's agree that this is enough knowledge for now. More information could cause epistemphobia, and we don't want that, do we? Please, enjoy the view from your train window and look forward to our next meeting. Minimum
