Description: Invites you to go back in time again! Angry Video Game Nerd is stuck in the gaming world again! And now you must help him get out, overcoming all the challenges of three evil old games!
Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures and Angry Video Game Nerd II: Absorption are included - a great way to go on an adventure with our hero! Get everything from the gaming series... and more! This collection features every level from both of the famously challenging platformers, remastered and improved, plus a new, never-before-seen final chapter that will bring the story to a close (and leave you even angrier than before).
So what awaits you...
[*] Improved graphics! A fresh take on 8-bit ugliness at its best!
[*] Updated engine! We've completely rebuilt the first game from scratch using the sequel's engine. Trust me, it gets better.
[*] Reworked level design and other difficulty settings! Both games are insanely hard to beat, but now on low and medium levels there will be an unlimited number of lives—and therefore an unlimited number of tries. Plus, we've worked on the level design to achieve the perfect balance of difficulty—the game will be challenging but fair. But if you're perfectly happy with the inhuman conditions of the original games, choose old-school (or worse) mode in the difficulty settings and start blaming the developers, like in the old days.
[*] Quality improvements! Faster respawns (when you die—which happens quite often—you jump out of the toaster and continue the game without drying out), multiple save slots, additional accessibility options, and other features that will allow everyone to enjoy the game.
[*] Surprises! Maybe you haven't heard of either of these games, or know the first part, but didn't realize there was a sequel, or maybe you set a world record for the fastest time you could complete the original versions... whatever. Hey, we'll find out what surprised you!
[*] New chapter, end of the story! You ask: "What, was there a plot?!" And we answer: "Well... sort of. But now we've got it covered!" Complete both games to unlock the epic ending!
[*] And other surprises!
