Afterimage is a hand-drawn 2D action-adventure game that focuses on fast-paced combat with diverse character skins, non-linear levels, and an immersive story set in the ruins of a fantasy world. Years after a catastrophe called the Destruction nearly ended human civilization, an amnesiac girl named Renee awakens in the ruins of a capital city. To recover her lost memories, she embarks on a journey to rescue her mentor, inexplicably setting off a chain of events that will determine the fate of the new world.
